This is the story of 2004, I was down with my luck, surviving on my girlfriend's salary and sleeping in a rental flat owned by a close friend. There was time I did not have a single cent that belonged to me! All the money I had that time, was from my family or my girl friend.
And when you thought that was the bottom of the pit a person can get, you are wrong. In the late 2003 I was introduced to a Taiwanese chap in his early 40s. He claimed to be representing a sizeable Taiwanese construction company trying to set foot in the Malaysia construction scene.
Quickly we hit it off, he operates from an apartment facing KLCC twin towers, I started to develop business plan for him and identifying potential projects for him, spending many hours in his condo (sometimes sleep over at his condo). The agreement was simple (or at least I thought it was) Rm3k per month for my services until we land a project, which I will be entitled to 20% of the profit.
