When growing up we were told a grand dream.
Year 2020 Malaysia will achieve development nation status, highways and bridges, electric cars.
But all that did not come true, instead Malaysia was bogged down but race politics and the world was introduced to COVID19!
Jan 2020 ended up in HCMC with CF on his new 204hectares township project. Excited as I was, the world was soon introduced to the COVID19 and what it can do.
Unseen to the world, many countries shut their doors and lock down the economy around March to May 2020. I just got back from KL to HCMC after a short break on 3 March and was stuck in HCMC until now early Nov 2020.
For 8 months only rely on VC to communicate with family and friends back home. Thank God for internet!
Vietnam had controlled the virus outbreak well, with lock down only lasted 1 month or less while the world had second or 3rd wave with countries in Europe and even Malaysia having a lockdown again in Oct 2020.
Getting homesick but work still busy and project nearing launching. Decided to bite the bullet in Nov and flew back to KL on 7 Nov 2020.
Writing this piece from my quarantine hotel... quarantine... that is another story...
