The sky was drizzling juice in the midst of sunset, the city sidewalk crowded with people trying to find shed, some grabbing their umbrella, i was standing in the middle of the main entrance to Pavilion. Shit! It is already 6.40pm, the movie suppose to start at 6.30pm, she is still not here. We had made a vow to watch this movie together, since we love the first one so much, but this is too much.
My mind was in hyper mode, should I, the one holding both our tickets, just go up 4 floors on the escalator and leave her behind? The movie suppose to start 6.30pm, with max 15 minutes advertisement, the timing will be just right if I start walking now...
Alas, my heart cannot bear the thought of leaving her alone at the sidewalk, wondering if I have ever waited for her... I continue to stand in the middle of the rain... trying to make myself soaking wet so she will feel sorry for me.
Luckily, the figure I know so well crossed Jalan Bukit Bintang from the other side of the road. "Don't shout at her, don't show a sour face, it will serve both of us no good..." I keep reminding myself...
I greeted her by extending my left arm, grabbing her bag heavied with her office laptop, and ushered her to hurry. No time to buy popcorn and drinks this time mate!
The Theater was dark and the crowd was silent, the THX trailer with SHREK and DONKEY just came up the screen... we are saved!!! I told myself, luckily I did not barked at her, keke.
The movie was not as good as I thought, lacking the suspense of the first one. I wonder why the DJ at MyFM repeatedly say that this sequel is much better than the first one? Anyway, it is an enjoyable movie, and there will be a third, page 47 of the BOOK OF SECRECTS... actually I was quite disappointed with the book, the book was too tiny to keep secrects of all past president of United States? I would thought when they refer a book, it might be a library of books... evidently my imagination was getting ahead of me.. haha.
